American Quantum Cycles Receives Floorplan Financing From TransAmerica

    MELBOURNE, Fla.--Oct. 12, 1999--American Quantum Cycles Inc. (AMEX:AFV), today announced that it has received floorplan financing from TransAmerica. This financing will allow American Quantum Dealers to finance purchases of motorcycles from American Quantum via TransAmerica. TransAmerica is a leader in floorplan services for the motorcycle industry and is presently working with over 600 motorcycle Dealers. TransAmerica has also approved the American Quantum Liberty product line for consumer financing at the retail level. American Quantum Cycles also uses Bombardier Capital, a $1 billion financial service company, for Dealer floorplan financing.
