Four New Books from Bosch Available from SAE
    WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 11 -- The Society of Automotive
Engineers (SAE International) has worldwide selling rights for the English
version of four books recently published by Bosch.
    The new third edition of "Automotive Electrics and Electronics" covers a
wide variety of electric/electronic system and components, ranging from
alternators and starting systems to safety systems, theft deterrence, and
navigation systems.  It provides comprehensive, easy-to-understand
descriptions as well as numerous charts, drawings, and illustrations.
    Ideal for engineers, technicians and enthusiasts "Driving Safety Systems"
offers a wide range of detailed descriptions of the most important control
systems and components.  A new section on electronic stability has been added
and sections on driving physics, braking system basics and braking systems for
passenger cars and commercial vehicles have been updated.
    The new second edition of "Diesel Engine Management" has been expanded to
include new sections on electronic diesel control, electronically controlled
PE-EDC in-line fuel-injection pumps, and the "common rail: accumulator fuel-
injection system."
    "Gasoline Engine Management" features a wide range of detailed and easy to
understand descriptions of the gasoline engine's most important control
