Detroit Diesel Corporation Announces Resignation of Vice Chairman, Timothy D. Leuliette
    DETROIT, Oct. 8 -- Detroit Diesel Corporation
announced today the resignation of Timothy D. Leuliette as vice chairman of
Detroit Diesel Corporation.  In addition, Leuliette leaves DDC's Board of
Directors as part of his resignation.
    Roger S. Penske stated, "Tim has been a valuable contributor to the
management team over the past three years at Detroit Diesel.  This is a great
opportunity for him and we wish him well in his new endeavors."
