First Conferences: Top Automotive Companies Meet to Discuss e-Commerce
DEARBORN, Mich. -- Executives from leading automotive companies will
converge in Detroit for the upcoming "Business-to-Business ecommerce for the
Automotive industry" conference -- http://www.firstconf.com/auto/b2b99
-- being held at the Dearborn Inn, Michigan on November 15 and 16 1999.

Lining up to speak at the event are senior executives from leading
automotive companies including Dana, Visteon, CSK Auto and Dofasco.

"This shows just how important automotive manufacturers and suppliers
believe e-commerce is to their core businesses" says Conference Director
Christopher Pett, chris@firstconf.com. "It's creating an incredible
difference for everyone -- from the smallest of aftermarket suppliers to the
largest original equipment manufacturers."

The conference program is packed with case studies in which key industry
figures show exactly how they plan to develop their e-commerce strategies,
revolutionise their communications and supply chain strategies, and implement
e-commerce plans.

Presentations are also featured from leading industry experts representing
the Automotive industry Action Group, Motor & Equipment Manufacturers
Association and Telcordia Technologies.

Plus attendees will hear from conference sponsor Cisco Systems and
co-sponsors Selectica, Jacada, Netscape and the Internet Operations Center.

Attendees will have time to discuss the impact of the latest web
technologies on their industry during question and answer sessions and social
events.

An exhibition running alongside the event will give delegates the
opportunity to try out new developments in e-commerce.

Christopher Pett says the success of previous events in Detroit in
February '99 and Amsterdam June '99 have sparked industry enthusiasm for this
follow-on event and more in the series taking place in the US, Europe and Asia
in 2000.
