Bundy and Walbro Facilities Merge Under Single TI Group Automotive Systems Banner
    DETROIT, Oct. 4 -- Bundy and Walbro Corporation facilities
throughout North America this month unveil a new corporate identity program to
celebrate the merger of the two groups under the banner of TI Group Automotive
Systems.
    The new organization results from the recent acquisition of Walbro
Corporation by TI Group and combines Walbro with TI Group's existing Bundy
business to create one of the world's leading suppliers of fluid storage and
delivery systems for the automotive, refrigeration and power tool industries.
    Jim Davis, president of TI Group Automotive Systems - North America, said
the new group employs more than 20,000 people at 150 facilities in 29
countries, including 9,000 people at 52 facilities in North America.
    He said new corporate signage will be unveiled at plant celebrations for
employees, customers and local officials throughout North America during the
month of October.  "The new organization provides us with a much broader, more
global reach," Mr. Davis said.  "It also will strengthen our local facilities
with new technologies and manufacturing capabilities that will further enhance
our ability to serve customers throughout the world."
    TI Group Automotive Systems locations in North America include:  Meriden,
Connecticut; Sanford, Florida; Cartersville and Valdosta, Georgia; Normal,
Illinois; Ashley and Ossian, Indiana; Maquoketa, Iowa; Cynthiana, Kentucky;
Auburn Hills, Caro, Cass City, Coldwater, Hillsdale, Marysville, New Haven and
Warren, Michigan; Hebron, Sabina and Washington Court House, Ohio;
Greeneville, Tennessee; McAllen, Texas; Bramalea, Orillia and Richmond Hill,
all in Ontario, Canada; and Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico.
    Allan Welsh, chief executive officer of TI Group Automotive Systems, said
