Infiniti Reports Best September in Division History
- I30's Record Month Leads Division's Sales -
CARSON, Calif., Oct 1 -- Infiniti, the Luxury Division of
Nissan North America, Inc., (NNA) reported sales of 7,576 units for the month
of September, a record month for the division and the second best month in its
history. This number represents a 30 percent increase versus the previous
year. Other notable achievements for the division include:
-- The I30, which was re-designed for the 2000 model year posted sales of
3,929 units, its best month ever. This was a 105.3 percent increase
versus the previous year.
-- The QX4, Infiniti's luxury SUV had sales of 1,580 units, up 6.5 percent
versus last year.
-- The G20 had sales of 1,384 units, up 25.7 percent versus last month.
-- Infiniti's flagship Q45 performance sedan posted sales of 683 units, up
18.6 percent versus last month.
-- Infiniti's 1999 calendar year sales are up 19.3 percent versus last
year with 52,128 units retailed so far this year.
Nissan North America, Inc. sales for September, including Nissan and
Infiniti Divisions, totaled 60,940 units, a 19.8 percent increase over last
year.

Infiniti QX4 luxury Sport Utility Vehicle, G20 sports sedan, I30 luxury sedan,
