Land Rover Announces Record September Sales

    LANHAM, Md., Oct. 1 -- Howard I. Mosher, president, Land
Rover North America, Inc., today announced record September sales of 2,522
units, the best September sales result in Land Rover North America's thirteen-
year history. Sales of Land Rover products are up over 37 percent compared to
the same period in 1998.
