Appointment at the Heavy Duty Group of Uni-Select Inc.

    BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec--Sept. 28, 1999--M. Jacques Landreville, President and Chief Executive Officer of Uni-Select Inc. (TSE:UNS.) (ME:UNS.) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Pierre Vocelle to the position of Executive Vice President, Heavy Duty Group.
    Mr. Vocelle holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and a MBA from McGill University. Mr. Vocelle also enjoys more than 20 years pertinent experience in the wholesale replacement parts industry. He successively held different management positions and he enjoys a strong experience in managing corporate stores and warehouse management. He also held the position of General Manager with Safety-Kleen Canada Inc.
