PHOENIX--Sept. 28, 1999--New Bridge Products Inc. (OTC BB:NBPI) Tuesday announced that Professor David R. Sassoon Ph.D. from "The House of Sassoon," is to become the "Technical Advisor in Research and Development," to the board of directors.Gary W. Tandy, president of New Bridge Products stated, "We are very excited and honored to have Professor Sassoon join our team. His extensive knowledge and background in polymers, Ecoplastics and composites along with his vast knowledge in Laser Technology bring a completely new dimension to the company and its products.
"In his advisory capacity, Professor Sassoon will head up the research and development of the New Bridge Products team, allowing the company to realize its full potential with the latest in technologies and materials.
"After Professor Sassoon's visit to the plant we realized that multiple synergies would be realized if we joined forces to produce the most cost effective and environmentally friendly products.
"As our company works to grow itself in revenues and profitability, we cannot only improve the methods in which we manufacture, we must consider all the materials that we are using to complete this manufacturing process. There are many fields of opportunity that exist to New Bridge Products today with Professor Sassoon's involvement that were previously beyond our reach.
