HSB Group, Inc. Names Controller

    HARTFORD, Conn.--Sept. 28, 1999--HSB Group, Inc. has announced that Theodore D. Kmiecik has been appointed corporate controller. Responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis, and taxes, Kmiecik joined HSB in 1996. Prior to that, he was a senior manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
    A CPA, Kmiecik earned a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from Western New England College.
