EWRX Launches Motorhood.com --
DENVER--(AutomotiveWire)--Sept. 28, 1999--EWRX (pronounced
E-works) Internet Systems Inc. (www.ewrx.com) (OTC BB:EWRX) announced
the addition of Motorhood.com (www.motorhood.com), to its growing
network of automotive Web sites.
Motorhood.com is the first and foremost online community where
automotive fans of all interests get 15 MB of free Web space to host a
personal motor vehicle Web site.
Unlike other broad-based online communities, Motorhood.com is
singularly devoted to the special interest group of automotive
enthusiasts and hobbyists. Until now, people with personal
automotive-oriented Web sites parked at sites like GeoCities had their
Web site buried in a subcategory of a subcategory.
At Motorhood.com the automotive fan's Web site isn't lost among
thousands of other non-automotive related Web sites, but featured
front and center in a neighborhood of personal automotive Web sites.
The Motorhood offers seven streets of interest where automotive
fans can place their Web sites -- Classic Car Drive, Classic Truck
Road, Hot Rod & Custom Boulevard, Motorcycle Way, Off-Road Place,
Muscle Car & Racing Parkway.
In addition to the 15 MB of free Internet space, Motorhood.com
offers an automotive-related URL that connects the user's interest
with their home page, a free e-mail automotive address --
(yourname@motorhood.com), chat rooms and message boards for automotive
enthusiasts to share ideas, or openly exchange opinions and
information 24 hours a day.
"People who host their personal automotive-related Web sites at
Motorhood.com will have the opportunity to have their site visited by
hundreds of thousands of their peers plus be able to conveniently see
in one area what other automotive enthusiasts are doing with their
Web sites," said Dan Jondron, President of Classicar.com.
"Motorhood.com is part of our long-standing commitment to create the
very best automotive community on the Internet."
Just in its pre-launch phase, Motorhood.com has already had over
55 Web sites sign up and begin the process of moving their sites over
to the new neighborhood. Soon, Motorhood.com will become part of the
larger automotive vertical portal called Motorwrx.com currently under
construction by EWRX.
