    SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 28 -- Autoweb.com
has extended the reach of its Member Dealers by adding paging to
SalesEnhancer.com, the Internet-based auto dealer support service it recently
acquired.
    "The integration of paging into our SalesEnhancer program for both
alphanumeric pagers and PCS phones enables our Member Dealers to respond more
quickly to customers interested in purchasing new cars," states Cathy Gordon,

professionals will find their reach greatly expanded because they won't need

    The addition of paging was stimulated by feedback from Autoweb.com's
Dealer Advisory Board. It will be provided to participating dealers at no
extra cost.
    The paging system will instantly alert sales professionals to new online
leads when they are generated, including after weekday business hours and on
weekends. When the recipient isn't available to take immediate action, the
detailed information in each lead can be forwarded to other sales
professionals at the dealership. Time stamps will be provided to all emails
and pages sent and received so that every step in a car-buying transaction can
be tracked more efficiently.
    SalesEnhancer.com supports dealers' sales channel needs by tracking
