Viasystems Mexico Earns ISO 9002 Certification

    RICHMOND, Va.--Sept. 27, 1999--Viasystems Technologies Corp., LLC, manufacturers of printed circuit boards, assembled backplanes, enclosures, and value-added services, announced today that its Value-Added Assemblies & Services (VAAS) facility in Juarez, Mexico, received ISO 9002 certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
    The International Organization of Standardizations (ISO) provides guidelines for manufacturing companies to effectively manage quality issues. ISO 9002 certification identifies Viasystems Mexico as an organization that repeatedly delivers exceptional products that meet customer quality demands. "Receiving this certification assures our customers that Viasystems will provide the highest quality backplane assemblies and enclosures," said Alfonso Ramirez, operations manager, Viasystems Mexico, "and recognizes our employees on a job well done."
