RADGUARD, the leading producer of IPSec Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions, announced today the most recent additions to the roster for its event "E-connecting the International Automotive Industry," to be held November 8-9, 1999 at the Hilton Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany. Oracle, MTD Products, Netscape, and Ward's AutoWorld magazine have accepted invitations to play a role in the RADGUARD-hosted conference, which focuses on secure business-to-business e-commerce and the streamlining of the automotive supply chain.
"The excitement this event has generated is overwhelming, and we're pleased so many industry experts have accepted our invitation to participate," said Elad Shaviv, vice president of marketing for RADGUARD Ltd. "This gathering will provide an unprecedented opportunity for the world's carmakers to share information and learn from the experiences of others who have benefited from business-to-business e-commerce. Attendees will be pleased with the interactive, informative and in-depth curriculum that's been designed," concluded Shaviv.
Executives from Oracle, the Sun-Netscape Alliance, and automotive supplier and power equipment manufacturer MTD Products have joined the impressive roster of speakers for the event. Other presentations will be given by senior executives from organizations including Atos GmbH, BMW, Bosch GmbH, Dassault Systems, Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Telekom Systemlosungen, Entrust Technologies, ENX, Ford, Network Management AB, RADGUARD, The Economist, and Viag Interkom. In addition, Ward's AutoWorld magazine is the official media sponsor of the event.

Session 4: Car industry exchanges throughout the world
Session 5: Using IT applications across the exchange and their incorporation into corporate networks
Session 6: The suppliers, large, medium and small scale - linking to network exchanges, communications with OEMs and the supply processes
"Attendees that will most benefit from this event include IT managers and network professionals from the automotive manufacturing industry, including carmakers and parts makers," said Elad Shaviv. "With the adoption of the network exchange model by industries other than the automotive community, the conference will also be useful for professionals from other fields looking to learn about secure business-to-business e-commerce."
