DAYTON, Ohio--Sept. 23, 1999--The Reynolds and Reynolds Company today announced that over 150 automotive retailing facilities across the United States have made the decision to utilize the company's Managed Connections family of networking services.Managed Connections is a significant offering designed specifically for automotive retailers, providing a single source for both connectivity and network support.

Currently, the Managed Connections family consists of two components: Frame Relay Connections and Wireless Bridging.
Frame Relay Connections, developed in cooperation with Cisco Systems and MCI WorldCom, simplifies data networking for multi-store automotive dealerships by providing world-class, single-source connectivity. Wireless Bridging allows retailers to use wireless technology to easily and cost-effectively connect remote sites within a one half-mile radius.

He added that Reynolds' new Web-enabled eService Reminders program is now available to automotive retailers as well.
