ABRA Auto Body & Glass Names Gerald W. Harn Vice President of Industry Relations
MINNEAPOLIS--Sept. 22, 1999--ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced that Gerald W. Harn has been named Vice President of Industry Relations. Harn will establish and maintain business relationships between ABRA and regional/national insurance executives.Harn was most recently Vice President of Electronic Commerce at CCC Information Services, a Chicago-based company that provides software and network solutions for the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry and their trading partners. Prior to that he enjoyed a successful 27-year career with Allstate where he was Director of Industry Relations. He was one of the founders of Allstate's highly successful mechanized PRO program, and was instrumental in the vision, design, and the implementation of the program on a national basis. Harn has served on numerous industry-related advisory committees, and is currently involved in the review of the Uniform Procedures for Collision Repair for I-CAR, as well as being active with the CAPA Technical Board. Harn indicated, "Joining ABRA allows me the ability to live out the vision that brings insurers and collision repair facilities, who were once adversaries, to the position of being trading partners looking out for each others' interests."

Jerry and Bobbie, his wife of thirty-three years, have four children and four grandchildren, and live in the Chicagoland area.
