Lincoln Limo Leadership a 'Fore' Gone Conclusion; Lincoln and Carey Limousine Showcase New LS Model at Ryder Cup
IRVINE, Calif., -- Since moving to California more than a year ago, Lincoln has strived to break from traditional automotive
marketing. That trend continues at the 33rd Ryder Cup Matches. Teaming with
Carey Limousine, Lincoln will use 20 of its all new Lincoln LS luxury sport
sedans to provide chauffeured transportation to golf players, corporate
executives and other dignitaries in the Boston area for the event.
"Over the years, Lincoln has dominated the livery business by listening to
what customers needs are," said Jim O'Sullivan, Lincoln Brand Manager.
"Partnering with a company like Carey allows us to further deliver those needs
to our customers. The Ryder Cup is a perfect fit for Lincoln and Carey
because it brings a world class car, together with a world class service
provider, at a world class event."
The Ryder Cup Matches begin on Friday, September 24 at The Country Club in
Brookline, Massachusetts. Lincoln and Carey will provide chauffeured
services, including airport greeters and event coordinators, to clients in and
around the Boston area and at the event. Lincoln and Carey expect that more
than 1,000 people will experience the new Lincoln LS luxury sport sedan.
"Carey is proud to showcase the new Lincoln LS luxury sport sedan to our
clients at the Ryder Cup Matches," said Devin J. Murphy, Senior Vice President
of Operations of Carey International. "The Ryder Cup is synonymous with the
best in golf, Lincoln is synonymous with the best in American luxury, and
Carey is there to bring the two together."
Lincoln and Carey are well known to each other, Lincoln as the luxury car
leader and Carey as the world's leader in chauffeured services. Last year,
Carey provided chauffeured services to more than 9 million clients worldwide
in Lincoln Town Car sedans and limousines.
Carey International is the world's largest chauffeured vehicle services
company. The company provides chauffeured sedan, limousine, van and minibus
services through a worldwide network of owned and operated companies,
licensees, and affiliates serving 420 cities in 65 countries.
