Mace Security International Signs Definitive Purchase Agreements To Acquire Two Wash Locations in Texas and New Jersey

    MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., Sept. 22 -- Mace Security International,
Inc. (MSI) today announced that it has signed definitive
purchase agreements to acquire Crystal Falls Car Wash of Lubbock, Texas and
Cherry Hill Car Wash of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  These washes combined
generate over $4 million in sales revenue and wash approximately 200,000 cars
per year.
    Crystal Falls, a full service car wash in Lubbock, Texas, joins the
previously announced acquisitions of Hanna Car Wash and 50's Classic Car Wash
becoming MSI's third major car wash location in this region.  This acquisition
makes MSI the largest car wash operator in the area.  Furthermore, MSI will
implement an aggressive marketing initiative to build brand name awareness for
the highly recognized Mace(R) brand name.  Crystal Falls is a full service
center that contains a high volume gasoline station with a convenience store
and a full service car wash providing washing, waxing, vacuuming and detailing
services.  This wash is strategically positioned for MSI to immediately
construct a lubrication center.
    Cherry Hill Car Wash, located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is a full
service car wash that fits in well with MSI's current 18 locations in the
Tri-State Region (Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania).  This acquisition
increases MSI's position in the Tri-State Region and allows the Company to
also aggressively market the brand name Mace(R) in this geographic area.
Cherry Hill Car Wash is a full service car wash that provides washing, waxing,
vacuuming and detailing services.  The Company also intends to construct a
lubrication center at this location.
    Louis D. Paolino, Jr., CEO and Chairman of MSI, said, "The addition of

critical mass in the Texas and Tri-State regions.  These locations are well
suited for double digit internal growth opportunities."
    The agreements are subject to customary closing conditions including
completion of due diligence.  Moreover, there can be no assurance that these
acquisitions will ultimately be closed.
