Action Performance Announces Exclusive Agreement Between goracing.com and SBK Superbike World Championship
PHOENIX--Sept. 16, 1999--Action Performance Companies Inc. Thursday announced that its Internet subsidiary, goracing.com inc., has entered into an exclusive Internet and revenue sharing agreement with Octagon Motorsports, which organizes the SBK Superbike World Championship (SBK).The two-year agreement adds the official SBK Web site as an exclusive member of the goracing.com network. The agreement further expands goracing.com's international alliances and coverage across all forms of motorsports worldwide.
Under the agreement, goracing.com will serve as the exclusive advertising agent and preferential technology partner for all of SBK's Internet-related activities. goracing.com also will be SBK's exclusive e-commerce provider and will host, manage and maintain all e-commerce functions of the official SBK site.
The agreement also provides goracing.com with two billboards ensuring television coverage at all SBK events, which are broadcast in over 160 countries and have viewership of approximately 160 million per event worldwide.
