National Car Rental Launches Passport Free Day Promotion in Europe

    MINNEAPOLIS--Sept. 16, 1999--National Car Rental today introduced an international promotion offering a free rental day off the Passport Weekly Rate for North American travelers who reserve a weekly or multi-weekly rental at a National Car Rental location in Europe.
    Between Sept. 15, 1999, and March 31, 2000, National Car Rental is offering one day free with every weeklong rental reserved in one of 11 European countries. The six-month promotion is valid for North American citizens renting for at least five days at participating National Car Rental locations in Europe. Participating countries are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
    To take advantage of the offer, quote contract ID 8700063 and receive a free day off the Passport Weekly Rates or contract ID 8700064 to include collision damage waiver and theft protection. Rentals must be reserved seven days in advance and the offer can not be used in combination with other discounts or promotions. Taxes, surcharges and black out days apply.
