Motocrossers benefit from $100,000 Mazda Truck Championship bonus

     PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- Newly crowned AMA Mazda Truck Motocross Nationals

250cc Champ Greg Albertyn and 125cc class Champion Ricky Carmichael top the list

of riders who collected cash from the $100,000 bonus fund posted by series

sponsor Mazda Trucks. In addition to the champions, 46 other AMA riders

benefited from the 1999 Mazda Trucks bonus fund.

     The generosity of Mazda Trucks provided well-deserved support to the

champions and other riders working their way up through the pro rankings,

according to AMA officials.
