F.I.A. Racing Championship Bolsters Prolong Super Lubricants European Launch

    IRVINE, Calif.--Sept. 16, 1999--A Prolong Super Lubricants sponsored team has won the 1999 F.I.A. European Drag Racing Championship in the premier Top Fuel division.
    The title was clinched in the five-race F.I.A. tour's final stop in an event completed on Sept. 12 at Santa Pod Raceway in England through a runner-up finish by veteran Gordie Bonin. The F.I.A. is also the official sanctioning body for the world renowned Formula One racing series.
    The 6,000-horsepower dragster piloted by Bonin to previous wins in England, Finland and Norway carried dominant Prolong Super Lubricants logo identity and was serviced by use of the full line of Prolong lubricants and automotive appearance products.
    Through its international division, Prolong is currently establishing distribution channels throughout Europe. Sponsorship of the racing venture, strongly tied to a related publicity and promotional campaign, was designed to raise public awareness of the Corporation's patented lubrication technology and associated consumer products.
