Champagne Perrier-Jouet's Millennium Road Trip

NAPA, Calif.--Sept. 14, 1999--Champagne Perrier-Jouet has shipped its charming Belle Epoque van to the United States to begin a tour of the country in celebration of the release of Fleur de Champagne 1995, Reserve Belle Epoque du Millenaire.
"We are delighted to be shipping the Belle Epoque van to our number one market in the world," says Thierry Budin, President Directeur General of Perrier-Jouet, "...and what better place to showcase our millennium cuvee?"
The Belle Epoque van is painted in the art nouveau style, and sports the famous Perrier-Jouet Fleur de Champagne anemone flowers along the side panels. It is a delightful replica of a van that was used in London to make champagne deliveries at the turn of the century.

Only 2,000 packages will be available worldwide, with 1,200 allocated to the United States. The package includes a hand-numbered Jeroboam (three liters) covered with hand-applied platinum and gold anemones, encased in a beech wood box, and a one night stay and dinner for two at Champagne Perrier-Jouet's 19th century guest house, Maison Belle Epoque.
