Dollar Rent a Car Opens New Locations

    TULSA, Okla., Sept. 9 -- Dollar Rent A Car announced the
opening of two corporate locations in Orlando, Fla., and Burbank, Calif., and
13 new franchise locations -- Richmond, Va.; Buffalo and Syracuse, N.Y.;
Manchester, N.H.; Midland, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and McAllen, Texas;
Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mosinee, Wis.; Berkeley and San Leandro, Calif; and
St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles.
    "We are pleased to add this group of exceptional franchisees to the
DOLLAR(R) organization," said Gary L. Paxton, president and CEO of Dollar.
"By opening strategic new locations across the U.S. and the world, we are
continuing to stand by our commitment to provide more customers with quality
vehicles at low prices."
    The corporate office in Orlando is located at the Ramada Resort/Florida
Center, 7400 International Drive and the corporate office in Burbank, Calif.,
is located at the Burbank Hilton, 2500 North Hollywood Way, serving the
Burbank Airport.
    New franchise on-airport openings include P.R.T. Enterprises, Inc., owner
Pedro De Moraes, who has opened a new in-terminal site at the Richmond
International Airport.  DOLLAR franchisee, Automotive Group Rentals, L.L.C.,
owner William Fuccillo, has opened an in-terminal location in Syracuse, N.Y.,
at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, as well as an in-terminal
location at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Buffalo, N.Y. DOLLAR
Boston franchisee, Traveler's Rental Company, owners John DaMore and Richard
Ray, have added their seventh DOLLAR location, in-terminal at the Manchester
Airport in Manchester, N.H.
    DOLLAR franchisee, JFC Automotive Rental Group, L.L.C., owners Bob and
John Conine, now operate 17 DOLLAR locations in Texas and Colorado and have
been affiliated with Dollar for more than 10 years.  The Conines have opened
five new locations -- Midland, Texas at the Best Western Hotel, 3100 W. Wall;
Corpus Christi, Texas at 4535 South Padre Island Drive, Suite 14; San Antonio,
Texas, at 5511 NW Loop; McAllen, Texas at 200-BN Tenth Street; and Colorado
Springs, Colo. at 822 West Colorado.
    DOLLAR franchisee, CWA Car Rental, L.L.C., owners Michael J.
Grzadzielewski and James Schymanski, opened a location in Mosinee, Wis.,
serving the Central Wisconsin Airport.  DOLLAR franchisee, S & P Enterprises,
Inc., owner Paul HiFai, opened locations in Berkeley and San Leandro, Calif.
DOLLAR franchisee, Larry Rental Car N.V., owners Conroy and Larry Gregory,
opened a location in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles.
    Dollar also announced two franchise locations have moved into two new
consolidated rental car facilities.  DOLLAR franchisee Austin Car Rental,
Inc., owners, Martin and Lily DeVos have moved their Austin, Texas location
in-terminal at the new Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.  The DeVoses
have been affiliated with Dollar for more than 10 years.  Owners James and
Doris Cassan, Todd Investment Company, have moved in-terminal in the new
consolidated rental car facility at the Portland International Airport.  The
Cassans have been affiliated with Dollar for more than 30 years.
