American Quantum Cycles Commences Secondary Offering and Begins Trading On AMEX

    MELBOURNE, Fla.--Sept. 8, 1999--American Quantum Cycles Inc., today announced that it has commenced its secondary offering of 2,430,000 shares of its Common Stock at $3.50 per share.
    American Quantum's Common Stock is now trading on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol "AFV." Prior to this offering, American Quantum Cycles Common Stock traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol "AMQC."
    Barron Chase Securities Inc is the managing underwriter for the public offering. The Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 364,500 shares to cover over-allotments.
