Limousine Sales Soar to 10-Year High
TORRANCE, Calif.--Sept 8, 1999--Limousine sales for the 1999 model year soared to a 10-year high of 4,950 units based on statistics compiled by Limousine & Chauffeured Transportation magazine that will be published in its annual 1999-2000 Fact Book.Annual limousine sales over the previous nine years averaged 2,988 units making 1999 one of the best years ever for limousine sales.
"We've seen a 46 percent increase in combined Lincoln and Cadillac sales this year," stated Sara Eastwood-McLean publisher of LCT. "This is a key indicator for growth in our industry."
