Internet Operations Center Expanding its Automotive Supply-Chain Internet Solutions Business: Adds 18 Engineers and Developers
         Growth initiative helps IOC deliver greater value to clients

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 8 -- Internet Operations Center,
Inc. (IOC), a leading Internet Application Service Provider (ASP) focused on
the automotive industry, today announced the addition of several key technical
professionals.
    "Finding and hiring the best technical professionals with Internet
expertise in electronic data interchange (EDI), enterprise resource planning
(ERP) implementation, web application development and related areas helps
fulfill a primary objective for IOC," said President Michael Marquardt.  "This
strategic growth initiative further enables IOC to deliver greater value to
our automotive clients by helping them to more fully utilize Internet
technology," he noted.
    "By expanding our staff we will improve our service levels for strategic
and tactical implementations of business-to-business e-commerce and supply-
chain web solutions," added Bill Walles, vice president of automotive business
for IOC.

    Web Development:
    Richard Topolewski, 32, joined IOC in April 1999 as team leader, web
development.  He supervises a staff of 15 application, graphic, Java and html
developers that work on various web-enabled business solutions.  He has over
nine years experience in web-based development, working on assignments at
Chrysler and General Motors and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
electrical engineering from Kettering University.  Topolewski, his wife
Deborah along with their six children live in Clarkston, MI.
    Ali Noui-Mehidi, 41, joined IOC in May 1999 as senior web application
developer.  He brings over 20 years experience in software development and
implementation, including significant experience in the automotive industry.
He holds several degrees in computer science and applied math from Oakland
University and the University of Paris.  Noui-Mehidi, his wife Futma and their
children reside in Rochester Hills, MI.
    Al Huebel, 37, joined IOC in Aug. 1998 as web application developer and
was recently appointed senior web application developer.  Huebel has over
eight years of experience in software development with significant experience
in web-enabled custom business application solutions.  He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree from DeVRY Institute of Technology.  Huebel, his wife Rita and
their two children reside in Royal Oak, MI.
    John He, 25, joined IOC in Aug. 1999 as a web application developer.  He
graduated from the University of Detroit in May 1999 with a Master of Science
degree in computer science.  He also holds a bachelor degree in computer
information systems from the East China Institute of Technology, Nanjing,
China.  He was a computer lab consultant for U of D as well as an officer for
the U of D Chinese Student Association and lives in Detroit.
    Guangjie Shi, 29, joined IOC in June 1999 as a web application developer.
He graduated from Nanjing University with a bachelor degree in computer
science and also received a master degree in computer engineering from Wayne
State University.  Shi has had seven years experience as a programmer/analyst.
He and his wife Nan Feng reside in Detroit, MI.
    Qing Wang, 26, joined IOC in June 1999 as a web application developer.
She graduated from Nanjing University with a bachelor degree in engineering
and also received a master degree in electrical and computer engineering from
Wayne State University.  Qing resides in Detroit, MI with her husband Anfeng.
    Joe Price, 19, joined IOC in July 1999 as web application specialist.
Price has previous automotive web development and hosting experience with a
company that he co-founded, Nevaeh Technologies, Inc.  His Internet technology
knowledge includes Unix administration e-commerce and Net.commerce, web
automation and interaction and a variety of programming languages.  He lives
in Warren, MI.

    Network Engineering and Infrastructure Administration:
    Yoom Nguyen, 37, joined IOC in April 1999 as team leader, network and
systems engineering.  He brings over 13 years of experience in the areas of
network implementation and management.  Nguyen has led major projects for
automotive clients and a major advertising agency.  His experience is wide-
ranging, including various Oracle, Cisco, 3COM, Netscape, Sun Microsystems and
IBM products.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from
Michigan Technological University.  Nguyen, his wife Celestine and their two
children reside in Eastpointe, MI.
    Ling Wang, 29, joined IOC in July 1999 as a web application developer.  He
graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master of Mathematics degree
with a concentration in computer science.  Ling also holds a bachelor degree
in engineering computer science from Beijing Polytechnic University, Beijing,
P.R. China.  Ling resides in Ypsilanti, MI.
    Marty Bens, 35, joined IOC in April 1999 as senior Oracle database
administrator.  Previously, Bens was a database administrator for over nine
years, mostly for health care related entities.  He holds a Bachelor of
Science in business administration from Walsh College.  Bens, his wife Karen
and their two children live in Eastpointe, MI.
    Fay Ghoujeghi, 33, joined IOC in Nov. 1998 as a Unix systems
administrator.  She has over nine years experience in Unix administration.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Oakland University.
Ghoujeghi, her husband Nader and their two children reside in Novi, MI.
    Norm Torvik, 29, joined IOC in June 1999 as a Unix administrator and
systems engineer.  Torvik has over five years in Unix administration and
systems engineering.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in computer information
systems management from Northwood University and lives in Sterling Heights,
MI.
    Amar Bajpayee, 20, joined IOC in Aug. 1999 as network support specialist.
Bajpayee is currently enrolled at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL,
where he is pursuing a dual major in Computer Science and Biochemistry.
Before coming to IOC Amar worked at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit on
a project involving neural network algorithms.  He lives in Troy, MI.
    Sam Orlando, 18, joined IOC July 1999 as network support specialist.
Orlando has previous automotive web development and hosting experience with a
company that he co-founded, Nevaeh Technologies, Inc.  His Internet technology
knowledge includes Cisco 3COM, Netscape, Sun Microsystems and IBM products,
web automation and interaction and a variety of programming languages.  He
lives in Sterling Heights, MI.

    Project Implementation:
    Leah Closson, 36, joined IOC in July 1999 as technical EDI specialist.
Closson brings over five years of EDI implementation experience, including
eight years with EDS (Electronic Data Systems).  She holds a Bachelor of Arts
in economics from Oakland University and resides in Pontiac, MI.
    Thej Kartal, PE, 35, joined IOC in Aug. 1999 as SAP/EDI specialist.
Kartal brings over five years experience in implementation of various ERP
solutions, including SAP.  He holds several advanced degrees in engineering
from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Bangolore University and
the University of Mysore, India.  Kartal, his wife Nandini and child reside in
Farmington Hills, MI.
    Lisa Heard, 33, joined IOC in Aug. 1999 as EDI implementation coordinator.
Heard brings over five years experience in EDI implementation and technical
writing.  She has worked on a variety of projects for Ford Motor Company,
Comshare and SupplyTech.  She holds a Master of Arts in art history and a
Bachelors of Arts in art history and German, both from Michigan State
University.  She lives in Ypsilanti, MI.
    Philippe Bontemps, 44, joined IOC in Aug. 1999 as application support
specialist.  He will also coordinate IOC's French speaking Client Support
Services.  Bontemps brings over six years experience in technical support for
remote business user groups.  Most recently, he assisted in a Ford Motor
Credit Company project for its U.S. dealer base.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts
in language and international trade from Eastern Michigan University and
resides in Chelsea, MI.
