New Penn Recognized in Annual Quest for Quality Survey
LEBANON, Pa.--Sept. 3, 1999--New Penn Motor Express, Inc., a subsidiary of Arnold Industries, Inc. has been recognized for excellent Northeast regional less-than-truckload (LTL) service in the annual Quest for Quality survey conducted by Logistics Management & Distribution Report magazine.This marks the sixth consecutive year that New Penn has been recognized in the Quest for Quality awards. Once again, New Penn achieved one of the highest scores obtained by an LTL carrier.
Over 3,300 readers of the magazine participated in the survey this year. This recognition is awarded annually to freight carriers by their customers. Participants voted for carriers in the following five performance areas: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service and equipment and operations.
"This recognition resulted from the hard work and dedication of all New Penn employees. We appreciate the positive feedback from our customers, and the efforts of Logistics Management & Distribution Report in conducting the survey," said New Penn Executive Vice President, Stephen M. O'Kane.
