AMA: As competition season winds down, AMA-sanctioned racing rolls on

4 September 1999

     PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- It may be fall, but American Motorcyclist Association

(AMA) racing fans still have many types of racing action to choose from in

October and November -- from the finale of the MBNA Superbike Tour presented by

Parts Unlimited to the AMA Fall Classic/Four-stroke National Motocross Series.

     The following is a list of major AMA-sanctioned professional, pro-am and

national amateur competition for October and November. For details on each event
