Vogel Automotive Media Revs Up A New International Trade Magazine 'automotive business international'
WURZBURG, Germany, Sept. 2 -- As flags go up for automotive
business international (abi), Vogel Automotive Media adds another vehicle to
its fleet of high quality automotive publications. The new
business-to-business magazine goes into the starting blocks at the Frankfurt
Motor Show (IAA) this September.
As the title implies, abi will cover the increasing globalization of the
automotive industry. abi describes, comments upon and analyzes the strategies
of automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. The target audience is
senior executives and managers whose strategic or operating responsibilities
include the internationalization of their companies.
With this high-end readership in mind, abi has put two top automotive
journalists in charge. Editor-in-chief Mark Phelan and his team of writers
are responsible for reports from North and South America and Asia. Editorial
director Wilhelm Missler, who is also editor-in-chief of Automobil Industrie
at Vogel Media, is responsible for covering developments and news in the
European market.
Initially this title will be published four times a year with a
distribution of 30,000. Targeted countries are all the automotive producing
countries in Europe, North and South America, Japan, China and South East
Asia.
