Vogel Automotive Media Revs Up A New International Trade Magazine 'automotive business international'WURZBURG, Germany, Sept. 2 -- As flags go up for automotive business international (abi), Vogel Automotive Media adds another vehicle to its fleet of high quality automotive publications. The new business-to-business magazine goes into the starting blocks at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) this September. As the title implies, abi will cover the increasing globalization of the automotive industry. abi describes, comments upon and analyzes the strategies of automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. The target audience is senior executives and managers whose strategic or operating responsibilities include the internationalization of their companies. With this high-end readership in mind, abi has put two top automotive journalists in charge. Editor-in-chief Mark Phelan and his team of writers are responsible for reports from North and South America and Asia. Editorial director Wilhelm Missler, who is also editor-in-chief of Automobil Industrie at Vogel Media, is responsible for covering developments and news in the European market. Initially this title will be published four times a year with a distribution of 30,000. Targeted countries are all the automotive producing countries in Europe, North and South America, Japan, China and South East Asia.
