CLUBS: Eagle One 'Golden Rule' Award to be awarded to charitable organization

        Carlsbad, Calif., September 2, 1999 -- Eagle One,
a leading marketer of premium automotive appearance
care products, announced that entry forms are now
available for its 7th annual "Golden Rule" Award.

        The award will be presented to a car or truck club
in the west, midwest, east and south for conducting the
most outstanding program in support of community and
charitable causes in its region, during 1999.

        Winners will receive a custom-designed engraved
plaque and a large supply of Eagle One products for
fund-raising purposes.  The Valvoline Company, parent
of Eagle One and co-sponsor of the award, will add a
generous supply of SynPower motor oils and automotive
chemicals.  Runner-up clubs will receive an award of
merit and a supply of products from both companies.
