Rockwell Automation To Hold International Event in Milwaukee in 2003
    MILWAUKEE, Aug. 27 -- Complete automation leader Rockwell
Automation, a business of Rockwell , and the Greater Milwaukee
Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) today announced Rockwell Automation
plans to hold its annual Automation Fair in Milwaukee in 2003.
    This will result in an estimated economic impact of $10 million for the
Milwaukee area during Automation Fair, scheduled for the week of Nov. 17,
2003.
    "This is a great win," said Dawn Poker, GMCVB vice president of sales and
marketing.  "Bringing this major piece of business to Milwaukee underscores
Rockwell's commitment to the city."
    According to Keith Nosbusch, president of Rockwell Automation Control
Systems, "We are proud to hold Automation Fair in Milwaukee in 2003 because it
will mark the 100th anniversary of the original Allen-Bradley Company.  By
holding the event at the Midwest Express Center, more of our local employees
will have the opportunity to participate."
    Rockwell Automation employs more than 5,000 in the greater Milwaukee area,
and its corporate parent, Rockwell International Corporation, will move its
corporate headquarters to Milwaukee in September.

hotels/motels, restaurants, attractions, services and area businesses.  Its
main office is at 510 W. Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee.  It also has sales
offices in Chicago and Washington D.C.
