CCI/Triad Releases New Parts Finding Vehicle; PartQuest Breaks Down Sales Roadblocks Between Inventory Systems

AUSTIN, Texas--Aug. 25, 1999--CCI/Triad today introduced the PartQuest(TM) system, a leading-edge technology for the automotive recycling market.
PartQuest is the first and only product that allows Checkmate(TM), Hollander(TM) and Orion(TM) computer users to electronically buy and sell parts with each other.
Traditionally, recyclers have been limited to inventory exchanges with trading partners that use the same yard management system. The PartQuest system breaks down these trading barriers and enables recyclers to increase profits. "CCI/Triad saw the opportunity for automotive recyclers to increase their parts trading nationwide, and sought a means to maximize it," commented Mike Nalepa, General Manager, CCI/Triad Automotive Recycling Division. "PartQuest eliminates parts trading barriers and helps to increase recyclers profits by significantly increasing inventory exposure and awareness."
"Thanks to PartQuest, I'm expanding my exchange partners, my sales territory and my parts sales," states Greg Freeman, Hollander user and owner of Freeman Auto Center in Joplin, Missouri. "I'm trading with Checkmate users I know and trust, and I'm growing my business."
The flexibility of the PartQuest system allows recyclers to choose from three options. The first option; contribute parts inventory, increases parts inventory exposure to other recyclers. The second option; receive parts inventory, multiplies a recycler's local inventory and helps increase immediate parts sales. And the third option; locate parts, expands a recycler's opportunity to buy parts from hundreds of recyclers in the CCI/Triad Recyclers Datawarehouse(TM). Each option may be individually selected.
The PartQuest system is currently ready to ship. For more information, call 800/633-7185.
