Trans-Am racer Michael Lewis to carry MSHoF decals at Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids, MI - AmeriSuites Ford Mustang Trans-Am racer Michael Lewis will be carrying a special sticker at the West Michigan Grand Prix this weekend, the logo of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.The non-profit Motorsports Hall of Fame is popular with both fans and racers alike. "The Hall of Fame is a great effort to preserve our sports history for future generations. It's obviously a labor of love for the staff and volunteers so we're happy helping with a little publicity" noted driver Michael Lewis, currently tied for second in points after eight of 13 races.
Hall of Fame President Ron Watson was pleased with the support from the AmeriSuites team and Michael Lewis. "The Hall of Fame includes racers from all forms of motorsport and Trans-Am racers are well represented. Trans-Am stars of the past now enshrined include Mark Donohue, George Follmer, Parnelli Jones, Peter Revson, and Dan Gurney. We're proud to have our logo on Michael Lewis' AmeriSuites Mustang. Based upon his performance to date, we know he's due for a win, it would be fantastic if it happened at Grand Rapids"
The Motorsports Hall of Fame is currently located in the Novi Expo Center, just 40 minutes northwest of Detroit. The Hall of Fame is open daily 10-5 and by special arrangement for private parties.
The Hall will be relocating to the Michigan State Fairgrounds to a newly renovated facility that will expand the collection and allow for larger corporate functions and group events in addition to the showcasing of racing legends.
