Tracks: Texas Motorplex & SpeedZone join forces

Dallas, TX (August 25, 1999) --- The Texas Motorplex in Ennis and SpeedZone
in Dallas have joined forces to promote a wide ranging level of activities
for racing fans in the DFW Metroplex. Race fans will be able to win tickets
to Texas Motorplex events by participating in SpeedZone live races during
the week and on the weekends. In addition to the weekly prizes, grand prize
packages consisting of tickets to the O'Reilly Fall Nationals, October
21-24, will also be awarded over the next two months. Fans at the Texas
Motorplex will also get to see and hear a lot about SpeedZone which will be
promoted heavily at the Texas Motorplex through broadcast and print
announcements, discount ticket give-aways, and appearances by SpeedZone
girls at select Motorplex events.

" The fan that comes to Texas Motorplex and the SpeedZone customer have a
lot in common. At the Motorplex fans can see the fastest drivers on the
planet. At SpeedZone fans have the chance to get a feeling of what a thrill
it is to be a race car driver either through the Top Eliminator dragster
ride or by playing anyone of the their state of the art video games. We have
just added a major Texas Motorplex display to the SpeedZone in Dallas on
Walnut Hill and I-35E that includes a full size Top Fuel Dragster and an
area where fans can pick up information about the Texas Motorplex," said
Ryan Haas, Texas Motorplex general manager.

Texas Motorplex and SpeedZone have been marketing partners over the last
four seasons but this new level of co-promotions solidifies each entity's
position in the marketplace.
