Oasis Car Wash, Inc. Names New Chief Financial Officer
DALLAS--Aug. 24,1999--Oasis Car Wash, Inc., the largest full service car wash chain in Texas, has named Thomas J. Andrus to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Andrus joins Oasis from AMRESCO, Inc., Dallas, where he served as their Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Qualified by his 18 yrs. of diverse financial services experience, Andrus will be responsible for leading Oasis Car Wash, Inc. to the public market. Andrus replaces Michael Wallace, who left to establish his own consulting firm."Tom has the perfect background for the growth challenges ahead," stated Rick Weyand, President and CEO. "His extensive history working with commercial bankers and investment bankers, coupled with his experience in real estate investment, liquidity management, risk management, and investor relations qualifies him as a multi-functional CFO, and a welcome addition to our team."
Andrus' work experience includes NationsBank, and KPMG Peat Marwick, while in Houston, before joining AMRESCO, Inc. in 1987. In addition to his most recent role as Senior Vice President and Treasurer while with AMRESCO, Inc., he also served in a dual financial management role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AMRESCO Capital Trust, a commercial mortgage real estate investment trust. Andrus has a BS in Business Administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas, and an MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
