Consulier Engineering Reports CRA-Z Soap Sales Accelerating; Comments on Quarterly Financial Report From Warren B. Mosler, CEO

    TEQUESTA, Fla.--Aug. 24, 1999--Consulier Engineering Inc. reported net earnings for the six month period ended June 30, 1999 of $0.03 per common share, with revenues increasing 11%. Expenses associated with C-6 Products Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, amounted to approximately $0.04 per common share and have been largely eliminated as of Aug. 31, 1999, when sales expense will be paid by sales commission only. C-6 ToolTopper(TM) sales totaled $46,220 for the six months of 1999 triggering the change to alternative distribution channels, including a variety of internet shopping sites.
    Sales of CRA-Z(TM) Soap by Southeast Automotive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Consulier, increased 125% for the first half of 1999 compared to 1998, and increased 153% for the second quarter of 1999 compared to the second quarter of 1998. This acceleration should continue as both initial orders and restocking orders are continuing to build. Several large orders are currently pending final approval with new distributors. The new CRA-Z(TM) Soap, point of sale packaging displays, have been successfully implemented at retail outlets.
    Southeast Automotive is finally showing results of its restructured sales effort, with early August sales data projecting record high sales of over $400,000 for the month. Margins for the year have also been increasing.
    The second half of 1999 will show increased sales, wider margins and lower expenses. Mosler said he was anticipating $0.50 before taxes per common share for 1999, although still a possibility, certain factors have most likely delayed that rate of return by approximately one quarter.
