AMA PRO RACING ANNOUNCES 2000 MAZDA TRUCK MOTOCROSS NATIONALS SCHEDULE PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Pro Racing today announced the tentative schedule for the 2000 AMA Mazda Truck Motocross Nationals. The 2000 schedule will include the same venues as the 1999 season, and will the follow the same sequence as the series traverses the country. The 2000 Mazda Truck Motocross Nationals will kick off in the heart of motocross country at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif., the weekend of May 13-14. The series will then swing north to Sacramento, Calif., for the May 20-21 event at the Prairie City SVRA Park. Riders and teams will then dash eastward for the traditional Memorial Day weekend races at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pa., to be held May 27-28. After a weekend off, the series will then arrive June 10-11 at Motocross 338 in Southwick, Mass. The weekend of June 17-18, the series will take over Budds Creek Motocross Park, in Budds Creek, Md. The series will then hit the halfway mark, with round six being held at Red Bud Track-n-Trail in Buchanan, Mich., the weekend of July 1-2. Fans in New York will get the first of two motocross dates the weekend of July 15-16 at Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin. The series will then head back to the midwest for the July 22-23 races at D&D Motocross Park (formerly Kenworthy
