    CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 24 -- BFGoodrich announced
today that Kenneth J. Luczaj, 52, has been named vice president and general
manager of Chandler Evans Control Systems located in West Hartford, CT, a
business that BFG acquired as part of its July 12th merger with Coltec
Industries. In his new position, Luczaj will report to John Grisik, president
of the Sensors and Integrated Systems group of BFGoodrich Aerospace. He
replaces David Terricciano, who resigned from the company to pursue other
business opportunities.
"Ken brings to Chandler Evans a wealth of industry knowledge, general
management skills and demonstrated success in championing product development
and strategic marketing efforts," Grisik said. "His extensive experience with
sophisticated, highly engineered products for the aerospace industry and his
proven track record of leading successful, customer-focused organizations will
be a great asset to Chandler Evans."
Luczaj joined Coltec Industries in 1994 as vice president and general
manager of the company's Lewis Engineering group in Naugatuck, CT. Prior to
joining Coltec, he had served for six years as president of the Winchester
Electronics division of Litton Systems, which he had joined in 1986 as vice
president of sales and marketing. His earlier career included increasingly
responsible positions in management, sales, marketing and manufacturing for
Microboard Processing, Circuit Wise and Burndy Corporation.
Luczaj was awarded a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering
by Manhattan College in 1968 and a master of business administration degree by
the University of Connecticut at Storrs in 1972.
