Kenneth J. Luczaj Named Vice President and General Manager of BFGoodrich's Chandler Evans OperationCHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 24 -- BFGoodrich announced today that Kenneth J. Luczaj, 52, has been named vice president and general manager of Chandler Evans Control Systems located in West Hartford, CT, a business that BFG acquired as part of its July 12th merger with Coltec Industries. In his new position, Luczaj will report to John Grisik, president of the Sensors and Integrated Systems group of BFGoodrich Aerospace. He replaces David Terricciano, who resigned from the company to pursue other business opportunities. "Ken brings to Chandler Evans a wealth of industry knowledge, general management skills and demonstrated success in championing product development and strategic marketing efforts," Grisik said. "His extensive experience with sophisticated, highly engineered products for the aerospace industry and his proven track record of leading successful, customer-focused organizations will be a great asset to Chandler Evans." Luczaj joined Coltec Industries in 1994 as vice president and general manager of the company's Lewis Engineering group in Naugatuck, CT. Prior to joining Coltec, he had served for six years as president of the Winchester Electronics division of Litton Systems, which he had joined in 1986 as vice president of sales and marketing. His earlier career included increasingly responsible positions in management, sales, marketing and manufacturing for Microboard Processing, Circuit Wise and Burndy Corporation. Luczaj was awarded a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering by Manhattan College in 1968 and a master of business administration degree by the University of Connecticut at Storrs in 1972.
