Terion Taps Transportation, Communications Industry Veterans For Senior Management PositionsMELBOURNE, Fla., Aug. 23 -- Terion, Inc., a rapidly expanding mobile communications technology and services provider, has recently hired four trucking and communications industry veterans to guide the company's growth and customer acquisition. Tom Doyle will serve as Terion's vice president of marketing. In this capacity, Doyle will direct Terion's product development and specification initiatives. An 18-year veteran of the transportation industry, Doyle was most recently vice president of marketing for Qualcomm's OmniTRACS division, where he directed worldwide marketing and public relations initiatives for the division. Doyle also held posts in product development and management with the company. Prior to Qualcomm, Doyle served in sales, marketing and product management capacities for GE Controls and Allied-Signal Heavy Vehicle Systems. Philip Jenquin is Terion's director of business development. Responsible for developing strategic partnerships with vendors and end-users, Jenquin has more than 25 years of transportation industry experience. Jenquin served a lengthy tenure with Qualcomm, Inc. where he gained extensive experience in development of new products and emerging markets. He oversaw that company's industry relations, international markets and international business development initiatives. Jenquin also served as both director and vice president of marketing for Qualcomm's OmniTRACS product line. In this capacity, he oversaw that technology's initial product and service launch. Ken Cranston joins Terion as vice president of sales. Cranston will direct Terion's national and international field sales and commercial initiatives. Cranston was most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing for Telespectrum Worldwide, Inc. where he developed key customer relationships within the communications industry. Prior to Telespectrum Worldwide, Cranston was with Western Union Corporation as their national account manager where he successfully secured numerous leading national accounts. Prior to Western Union, Cranston served as sales planning and evaluation administrator with the National Broadcasting Company where he forecasted sales and pricing for the TV stations division. Jim Webster is Terion's director of national account sales, focusing on developing key corporate relationships. Webster has 20 years of domestic and international sales experience in the transportation industry. He was most recently director of sales and marketing for Meritor Heavy Vehicle Systems' Highway Transportation Electronics division. Prior to that, Webster held senior-level domestic and international sales management positions with Innovative Computing Corp. and Comdata Holding Corp. Webster was twice appointed Suppliers chair for the Truckload Carriers Association and is a member of the American Trucking Association and the Institute of Directors, London, England. This management team brings a high level of industry experience and expertise to Terion's process of introducing a mobile communications system that combines the simplicity of email, the reliability of FM radio and the sophistication of digital high frequency (DHF) technology to offer a highly effective information management solution.
