JMPR Signs Carparts.com; Internet's Largest Automotive Accessories and Parts Site
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Aug. 23 -- Carparts.com, the
automotive answer to Amazon.com, has retained JMPR Public Relations, Inc. to
assist with its national public relations responsibilities.
Based in Santa Monica, Carparts.com is the Internet's largest site
dedicated to the sale of automotive parts and accessories. The site, which
officially launched on July 20, carries over 1.5 million SKUs -- everything
from spark plugs to bike racks -- and offers quick and easy access to the most
complete parts database on the web. The website is currently divided into
segments serving truck, SUV, import performance and domestic car owners.
The newly launched site has met with applause from auto parts
manufacturers that recognize the power of the Web to broaden markets globally
for their products and to generate immediate test marketing of new products
while expediting time-to-market. The site offers products from nearly
500 major suppliers including TRW, AC Delco, Beck Armley, Borg Warner,
Motorcraft, PIAA, Steelhorse, Borla and Lund.
JMPR Public Relations, Inc. is based in Woodland Hills. Its clients,
covering a wide range of automotive and lifestyle industries, include
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Inc., Meguiar's, Inc., the Specialty Equipment Market
Association (SEMA), Hagerty Classic Insurance, EMAP Petersen, Inc., Nakamichi
USA, Robb Report Magazine, The Speedvision Network, and BFGoodrich Tires.
