AMA: Six-Race AMA Fall Classic/Four-Stroke National Series set for September

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- The popular American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Fall Classic/Four-stroke National Series kicks off Sept. 11-12 at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Budds Creek, Md., with top riders Brock Sellards, Robbie Horton, Mike Brown, Barry Carsten, Todd DeHoop and defending champion Anthony Pocorobba expected to contest the six-race series. Racers will battle in three classes: Four-stroke, 250cc Pro and 125cc Pro. A full $8,500 is up for grabs in each round, with the top eight Four-stroke and 250 Pro class riders splitting the $11,000 year-end points fund. In addition, Husqvarna, a major series sponsor, is posting $65,000 in contingency money for all riders racing the Swedish machine.
