Transportation Technologies Industries; New Union Contract Ratified At Brillion Iron Works Subsidiary
CHICAGO--Aug. 20, 1999--Transportation Technologies Industries, Inc. announced today that a new three-year collective bargaining agreement at its Brillion Iron Works, Inc. subsidiary was ratified yesterday. Brillion's hourly employees have been working since July 1, 1999 under an automatic extension provided by the prior agreement while negotiations were continuing.Thomas M. Begel, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the Company, said, "We are pleased to have reached a new three-year agreement at Brillion. This new agreement continues to provide Brillion's valued employees with good wages and benefits."
