       Becomes Premier Auto Insurance Provider on the cars.com E-Store

    REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Aug. 19 -- InsWeb , the
Internet's leading insurance marketplace, announced today that it has become
the premier provider of auto insurance shopping services on the cars.com
E-Store, the newly launched automotive marketplace available at http://www.cars.com.
The agreement leverages the strong consumer offerings from InsWeb and cars.com
to better address and fulfill the needs of automotive consumers.

    By going to InsWeb at the cars.com E-Store, consumers can compare
insurance-company sponsored quotes for actual coverage from up to 21 auto
insurance companies, including such leading carriers as State Farm,
Nationwide, Progressive, RelianceDirect and AIG.
    The cars.com E-Store insurance section also provides various other content
links such as filing a claim, insurance for young adults and choosing
coverage.
