Textron Automotive Names Bill Mihalic Vice President, Business and Systems Planning of its Trim DivisionTROY, Mich., Aug. 17 -- Bill Mihalic has been named to the newly-established position of Vice President, Business and Systems Planning for Textron Automotive Trim, a division of Textron Automotive Company Inc. The announcement was made by Bill Maclean, President of Textron Automotive Trim today. In this critical role, Mr. Mihalic will report to Michael A. Mitchell, Executive Vice President, Business and Product Development and will be responsible for the analytic, strategic and implementation support for Textron Automotive Trim's growth in cockpits, front-end modules and other vehicle systems. He will also be responsible for engineering administration procedures, initiatives and financial planning. Since joining the company in February, 1999, Mr. Mihalic, 51, has been Director, Business and Systems Planning and has since made significant contributions to the development of Trim's Strategic Operating Plan and the analysis of systems business opportunities. Mr. Mihalic earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and an MBA from the University of Detroit, Detroit, Michigan.
