LOWELL, Ark.--Aug. 17, 1999--J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. recently was honored with the 1998 National Service Award for truckload carriers at the Quaker Oats Carrier Service Awards ceremony in Chicago. The award program, in its third year, is designed to recognize carriers in various categories for outstanding performance in delivering Quaker Oats products."These awards reflect the carriers' ability to provide on-time delivery, a high level of billing accuracy and the ability to demonstrate compliance by providing delivery information through electronic or paper mediums," said Carl Curry, Quaker's Vice President of Integrated Purchasing and Logistics in the Quaker newsletter.
