CCC International Acquires D.W. Norris Limited

    CHICAGO, Aug. 16 -- CCC International, a subsidiary of CCC
Information Services , announced today that it has acquired D.W.
Norris Limited, one of the largest independent vehicle inspection companies in
the United Kingdom.
    D.W. Norris is well known for its staff of professional engineers/claims
adjusters who provide vehicle accident damage assessment, accident
investigation, theft investigation and other third-party insurance services.
CCC's workflow and technology expertise will be leveraged to streamline
administration, improve adjuster efficiency, provide meaningful management of
information and enable insurers to fully monitor the costs of benefits of
independent vehicle inspection.

    D.W. Norris will retain its name and continue to operate out of Wellcroft
and Shipley in West Yorkshire.  CCC International will consolidate its
existing vehicle inspection operations at D.W. Norris' Shipley facilities.
