Tracks: Rain Cancels Races at Lebanon Valley Friday

WEST LEBANON, NY- Constant rain showers throughout New York Sate forced speedway officials to cancel Saturday nights racing program. It is only the second time this season that the speedway has canceled due to rain. Lebanon Valley Speedway will be back in action next Saturday night as PARTS PLUS & MILLERS MARKET will present a full racing card of Modifieds Sportsman, IMCA Modifieds, Street, Rookie and Pure Stocks. As an added attraction there will also be a demolition derby. The speedway mascot, Lionel the Lion, will also be in attendance for Pin Night at the Valley. Only three regular Saturday night point shows remain in the 1999 season. The point championships in several divisions could come down to the final night of competition. The speedway is also gearing up for the big CARQUEST KINGS 200 WEEKEND on September 11th and 12th.
