Newgen Results Corporation Partners With Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America; Service Initiatives With Mitsubishi Expected to Begin in Fourth Quarter 1999
SAN DIEGO--Aug. 13, 1999--Newgen Results Corp. , the leading provider of customer relationship management products and services to the service sector of the $1.3 trillion U.S. retail automotive industry, today announced a preliminary agreement with Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America Inc., (MMSA) to be the provider of customer centered products and services to MMSA and 500 Mitsubishi dealers throughout the United States.The companies are finalizing the details of the strategic initiative, entitled Mitsubishi Diamond Care Plus, which includes dealer introduction plans and training activities to occur early in the fourth quarter of 1999.
"This agreement will mark our second contract with a major automotive manufacturer, and our first exclusive agreement," said Gerald L. Benowitz, Newgen's chairman, president and CEO.
"Through Mitsubishi's Diamond Care Plus system, we will be offering not only our Results Closed-Loop Customer Reminder system, but also our new, state-of-the-art, ROAD data base marketing system and customer Reservations systems.

Newgen secured its first automotive manufacturer contract with the Ford Motor Company in January 1996, and to date Newgen provides products and services to almost 1500 Ford and Lincoln-Mercury dealers nationwide.
Agreements with automotive manufacturers constitute one of the company's key growth strategies, and it expects to announce further agreements and alliances in the future. In addition, Newgen is also a preferred provider of products and services to numerous dealers selling most other vehicle brands.
