Textron Automotive Receives Two Automotive Industries' 1999 Quest for Excellence AwardsTROY, Mich., Aug. 12 -- For the second consecutive year, Textron Automotive Company has been named recipient of Automotive Industries' Quest for Excellence awards in the Body Exterior and Interior categories for 1999. Textron Automotive was one of only three automotive suppliers recognized for excellence in both categories. Approximately 1,800 of Automotive Industries readers involved in design, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and management responded to the survey ranking current and past suppliers in five different areas: quality, price, service, delivery and innovation. This year, a total of 107 suppliers in 19 categories earned this prestigious award.
